Specialist Nursing in Prisons
Superior Care works with prisons throughout Kent to provide nursing and care staff to support the healthcare requirements of prisoners including completing screening and running clinics as well as supporting the operation of impatient services.
- Superior Care has a team of nurses and healthcare assistants who have previous experience of working in prisons
- All care workers recruited through professional sources such as the RCN Bulletin
- The nurses that we place in prison assignments all have triage and/or A&E experience and have training in intermediate life support (ILS) and venepuncture; we often run these courses in prison training facilities as well as in our own venues; so as to extend the availability of these courses to prisons’ own teams. This option is offered, free of charge
- Superior Care has a bank of staff who are security cleared and who are knowledgeable in the use of System 1.
